Meet Dr. Bahram Ghadiri at the Bay Area Kids' Book Fair in Cupertino — Saturday, November 7
On Saturday, November 7, the free Bay Area Kids' Book Fair comes to Cupertino High School, and Dr. Bahram Ghadiri will be signing Tiny Time Traveler books for young readers.
If you want a child to leave a book fair with a book in hand and a story about meeting its author, this is the one. On Saturday, November 7, 2026, the 10th Bay Area Kids' Book Fair opens its Silicon Valley edition at Cupertino High School, and Dr. Bahram Ghadiri will be there signing Tiny Time Traveler books.

Bring a Book, Get It Signed
Stop by the table, say hello, and have your copy signed, with your child's name in it if you like. A signed book is a good thing to give for a birthday or the holidays. It is also a better reason for a kid to start reading than most things we can offer.
Bahram is happy to talk with young readers about what's in the stories: why a boy travels back to ancient Iran, what the Burnt City goblet really shows, and how archaeologists know an 8,000-year-old flute is a flute.
The fair is free to attend, indoors, with free parking, and it is built around meeting the people behind the books. Authors, illustrators, publishers and booksellers fill the room. Two storytelling areas run all day, with authors and doctors from Stanford Medicine Children's Health reading aloud. There is a hands-on family craft table, and the first 200 families each day get a free book backpack.
Costumed storybook favorites make the rounds both days, including Elephant & Piggie and Woody & Buzz Lightyear. Families who reserve a spot online get a free $2 Book Buck to spend at the fair, one per family.

About the Books
If your children have never met the archaeology of ancient Iran, this is an easy first introduction. The series follows a boy who travels back through real places and real objects: the world's first animation on a painted goblet from the Burnt City, an 8,000-year-old flute, the Bronze Age metalworkers of Shahdad, the oldest Venus figurine at Sarab. Seven books are out now, each one built on a genuine archaeological find.
New to the series? Begin with The First Animation of the Ancient World, Book 1, or browse the full collection. Book 1 is also available in Persian, a copy grandparents can read aloud.
Can't Make Saturday?
The fair has an East Bay edition the next day. We'll be at Pine Valley Middle School in San Ramon on Sunday, November 8, same hours.
